​The ABEBÉS collection is the result of an investigation into the theme of issue no. 42 of Revista Amarello - Water.

 

Inspired by the abebés, objects of the Yoruba culture and used in rituals of African religions, the mirrors are associated with the Orixás of the waters, Oxum of the rivers and waterfalls and Iemanjá of the sea.

 

They are handmade in granilite and composed of reused oyster shells that were collected in Rio de Janeiro.

This composition also generated a new reading for the zeroum collection bowls.
